Why Attend Level Up Wrestling Camps?
There are several options out there, but the purpose of a wrestling camp is to concentrate learning into just a few days. If a camp is not constructed properly, most of what is taught will not be retained. We take a careful, systematic approach to designing each camp to optimize learning.
- Built on a System – There are no “camp moves” here. Technique is broken down into functional parts and built back together, drilling both slowly AND fast to learn how to apply them in a live environment.
- Maximized Retention – Camps are constructed to optimize learning & retention as well as build confidence to apply what is learned in matches.
- Results – Our methods produced numerous youth & high school state champions, as well as national champions in both folkstyle and Olympic styles of wrestling.
- Learn to Flow – Specific drills help wrestlers develop an understanding of how to “chain wrestle” and subconsciously flow between positions
- Fun & Competitive – Not just wrestling all day, campers are split into teams that compete throughout the camp, as well as at daily dual meets. In addition, bonus points are given for executing the moves learned at camp!
