Starting Monday, Nov 9th Level Up will have a slightly modified schedule for Folkstyle Season.

This will include important strength training, as well as create an opportunity for HS wrestlers to get an extra practice with good partners in during the week.

Quick Summary:

  • Beginners stay the same, but can stay for strength training after
  • Daily open practices now start at 6:30pm but with strength training at 6pm
  • HS wrestlers should plan on Tues and/or Thurs from 7-8:15pm as well as Sundays
  • Sunday open practices are now 3:30, but with strength training at 3pm

Daily Schedule:

  • Mon: 6:30 – 8:15 open practice
  • Tues: 5-6pm Beginners; 6:00-6:30 optional strength training; 6:30 – 8:15 open practice (7pm HS start time)
  • Wed: 6:30 – 8:15 open practice
  • Thurs -5-6 Beginners; 6:00-6:30 optional strength training; 6:30 – 8:15 practice (7pm HS start time)
  • Sun – 2-3pm Beginners; 3:00 – 3:30 optional strength training; 3:30 – 5:15 practice

Who is strength training for?
These sessions are designed for youth wrestlers to build functional strength specific for wrestling and other sports. We will focus mostly on bodyweight exercises, light resistance and plyometrics.  All exercises will be designed to be age appropriate.
